Erick Fernandes is an Adviser for Agriculture & Rural Development at the World Bank. He holds a BS in Forestry from the University of Aberdeen and a PhD in Soil Science from North Carolina State University. Erick was a Professor of Crop and Soil Sciences at Cornell University with research and teaching programs on tropical agroecosystems, cropping systems, and agroforestry prior to moving to the World Bank.
